Gab with the Gap Sept. 25th
No Category
Greetings from The GAP!

I just wanted to remind everyone of GAB with GAP this Thursday at 7pm
(and if you are looking for a mid-week opportunity for faith and
fellowship, you might want to check out Wonderful Wednesdays). More info
below:
GAB WITH GAP: THURSDAY, SEPT. 25TH AT 7PM IN THE PARLOR.
On the last Thursday of each month, the "Graduates And Professionals"
(GAP) gather in a relaxed environment for wine, cheese, and discussion.

This month we are going to gather to get to know our new Young Adult
Director (thats me: Nate Bostian), and discuss the book "Unchristian:
What a New Generation Really Thinks about Christianity, and Why it
Matters". For more information on the book, click HERE
(http://www.unchristian.com/book.asp).

You dont need to read the book: Just show up and be ready for
fellowship, discussion, and hopefully some laughs as well! Child Care is
provided (with reservation): Call Child Developement at (214) 361-1224 .
See you in the Parlor at Saint Michaels, on Thursday Sept. 25th at 7pm!

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS: CLASSES FOR YOUNG COUPLES AND SINGLES.
Starting THIS Wednesday, we will have a weekly parish-wide event called
"Wonderful Wednesdays". It is an oasis of faith amidst the desert of
deadlines and stress we face each week. Each Wednesday, Saint Michaels
will give you an opportunity for food, fellowship, and faith:

- 5:30PM A Great Dinner for $8 [To reserve a meal you need to RSVP HERE
(http://saintmichael.org/pages/Wonderful_Wednesday_Registration)]

- 6:00PM Short contemporary Eucharist

- 7:00PM Young Adult Bible Study: There will be both a young couples
Bible Study hosted by Amy Meaux and Rob Leacock, as well as a study on
becoming "Simply Christian" led by Nate Bostian.

If you are interested in coming to Wonderful Wednesdays, please register
HERE (http://saintmichael.org/pages/Wonderful_Wednesday_Registration).

MORE OPPORTUNITIES COMING…
As we go forward this year, we will be planning more "GAB with GAP"
meetings, service projects, and maybe even a mission trip. So, keep a
lookout in your email box, and if you ever need anything or have a
question, do not hesitate to contact Nate Bostian.
